83. Having High Standards

About this Podcast

How high do you set the bar for yourself and for others? If you’re anything like most of my clients then your answer is probably “pretty high.”

The questions that beg to be answered are… is having high standards a good thing or a bad thing? And how do you know if your standards are just high or if they’re in fact unrealistic?

There are two very important aspects to consider when answering these questions; the responsibilities that come with having high standards and the relationship you have with yourself and the standards you aim to live up to.

I share the details in this week’s episode of The Manager Track so you can evaluate whether your standards are high in a good way or if they are simply unrealistic and create a discouraging environment for your team.
